Who We Are
The business started in 1945 on Lafayette Ave, just down the street from our current shop, right here in Lebanon. Bill "Deak" Deakins started with a small gas service station. After a few years Bill decided to expand the automotive repair side of the family business and moved it down to 905 Lafayette Ave.
After many years, and lots of changes to the business, the 2nd generation involving Gary Deakins, decided to move the business to Thorntown where he had established his family. Gary served the town and surrounding areas for more than 30 years. Soon enough the 3rd generation took over the business and have continued to serve Boone County and surrounding areas.
As the years went on the vision and ambition began to grow as to the possibilities for the business. When the business moved to Lebanon again in 2011, at 703 Lafayette Ave, they began to do what they do best, serve the people of the community. With the family philosophy and culture the business began to grow yet again. Jason has led the business to new levels his brother Andy Deakins. Their sister Jessica Anderson is managing the customers' needs. Being a family oriented business, they employ their cousin Jimmy Bolen as well. Other members of our work family, ready to serve, is Brayton Beesley and Joe Williams. Today with the business still growing the base organization was moved to 703 Lafayette in 2011 Ave.
