After spending $3200 in repairs, the car still needed work with the check engine light coming on and a little wire holding up the exhaust pipe.. In the reply, or the "response from the owner," they said that the "exhaust repair was talked about but you passed" - they never spoke with me directly about this. They also said "we advised you not to put money into this vehicle because of the condition it was in" - this is a flat out lie. They never advised of any such thing.
I am sorry you feel that way and a little surprised. You requested estimates for the main items that needed to be done. The exhaust repair was talked about but you passed. The vehicle came in with the exhaust wired up, not by us. We advised against you putting money into this vehicle because of the condition of it. You said you needed it for your daughter to use. You decided to move forward with the larger/main repairs, which would leave some issues still present like the exhaust and causes of the check engine light.
